Reading stories of slavery has always stirred me up ... Such horrible treatment of human lives just makes me sick.  Yet I've often wondered how I would have reacted to slavery if I lived in that era.  (Praise God that I did not have to) It's so easy to go with the flow!  I am so thankful for Sojourner Truth's redemptive outcome.  I love that Christ sought her out and eventually saved her!  Just as he did with Mary and us all!!  We have so much to be hopeful for but gratefully we do not have to be slaves to our sin thanks to our Beloved Savior!
